Privacy Policy

Profit Solutions Pro, Inc., a Florida corporation ("Profit Solutions," "we," "us"). Last updated: [DATE UPON COUNSEL APPROVAL].

We're a bookkeeping, accounting, and tax firm. Protecting client information isn't a marketing point for us — it's the job. This policy explains, in plain language, what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

Information you give us. Contact details (name, email, phone, address); business information; and, for clients, the financial and tax records needed to do the work — such as bank and credit card statements, accounting records, payroll information, prior tax returns, and taxpayer identification numbers.

Information collected automatically. Standard website analytics: pages visited, browser and device type, and referring pages. We do not sell this information or use it to build advertising profiles.

How we use it

We use client information to deliver the services in your engagement letter: keeping books, preparing financial statements, preparing and filing tax returns, and communicating with you about the work. We use contact information from inquiries to respond to you. We use website analytics to keep the site working well.

We do not sell personal information. We do not share tax return information except as permitted or required by law — and where the law requires your written consent first (including under Internal Revenue Code §7216 for certain uses and disclosures of tax return information), we obtain it before acting.

Who we share it with

Only as needed to do the work and run the firm: qualified service providers operating under written confidentiality and data-protection obligations (for example, hosting, secure document exchange, tax software, and payment processing); professionals you authorize us to coordinate with (such as your attorney or financial advisor); and government authorities where the law requires it. Anyone who handles client information for us is bound in writing to protect it and may use it only to perform work on our instructions.

How we protect it

We use encrypted transmission and storage for client records, access limited to the people who need it for your work, and secure document exchange rather than email for sensitive items like tax ID numbers and account numbers. We retain client records as long as needed to serve you and as required by law (generally at least seven years for tax records), then dispose of them securely.

Your choices & rights

You may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (subject to legal retention requirements for tax and accounting records). You may opt out of any marketing email with one click or one reply. Florida and other state laws may give you additional rights; we honor verified requests as those laws require.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information below.
